I live in Akron, Ohio, and just got into the hobby. I have not shot my rifles yet, as it is challenging to find a place to shoot (unless I am looking for the wrong things). If there is anyone in Northeast Ohio, Southeast Michigan, or the Columbus area who could reach out to talk, it surely would be appreciated.

Our next match is Tuesday May 13 and also Sat May 31. Sun up is at 10 and match starts at 11. We would welcome you to join us for a few hours of fun.

Hey Igolfat8, I haven't even shot my guns yet. So, to do a match or competition would be unrealistic. I want to find someone within 2 hours of the greater Akron area whom I could shoot the poop with and learn things from. I just purchased the rifles and am a full on noob. Thank you for the reply. It is something I will put on my to-do/look-into list!

Consider coming to watch. You can talk with several air gunners and see what equipment we are using. There is time to ask lots of questions and meet folks with similar interests. Everyone has to start someplace and this is a good place to learn from others and make new friends. Our next match is this coming Tuesday May 13 at 10AAM. Please PM me here or email me your email address and I will add you to our bulk email list which updates you with all of our matches, score results and other pertinent info. I am the match director for Meeker's N50 matches and you can validate my contact info through the N50 website. Hope to see you folks there.

Your about 1 and a 1/2 hours from me. I shoot in my back yard and it's around 120 yards deep.
Beyound that is about 1 mile of woods and farm land. So no worries about ammo going past my land.
Neighbors know I shoot Air Guns and don't care. I shoot up to .50 cal.

Not only is it the largest show i know of it is your neighborhood , in the air gun world size of maps .(in a few hours is considered close )

I’m another relative newbie to the airgun world and I’ve already been thinking about stopping by to check out a match. I live east of Columbus in Licking Ct. I just might stop by on the 13th.
