Norma Golden Trophy FT

Ordered a few tins of .177 (9.1gr) and .22 (15.9gr) to try out because the price was right. Well... they're all over the place. The first thing I noticed was the were pretty loose when inserting them into the barrel so I decided to put my Pelletgages to work. The .22 pellets were all 5.48mm (possibly less but thats the lowest on the tool) and the .177s all fell within 4.48mm and 4.49mm. Way on the smaller side. The pellets themselves are pretty cleanly made for the most part it seems so thats a plus.

JSBs and FTTs I have no problem with in any of my guns really. I dont size or weigh either and rarely get any sort of meaningful flier. These pellets on the other hand just slide right into the barrel and I'm fairly certain a good shake will pop them back out haha.

I should note that I only tossed a handful of each caliber into the Pelletgages so I have no idea how consistent their head sizes actually are. Its a fair assumption based on how the 50 or so that I shot that they are all on the smaller side of the scale.
