Noob post what caliber for hunting med game? So many choices out there.

I was looking at 9mm/357 as I have few molds I can cast bullets,I also was looking at 45 as I have everything from 160 button to 500 grain postel in 457..58 caliber I have a bunch molds to cast and was looking at the Zeus and by videos I watched the 58 knocked better than the 72 caliber for deer...any input appreciated this is my 2/10 post so I can start buying on here..

Sounds like you’ve got a good handle on it. In my opinion for medium game and up, 457 and over should be used. There’s not much for options currently in this department, but AEA seems to have a ton of offerings for big bore in general. Be ready to do some repairs from time to time, but they’re pretty accurate platforms for hunting.good luck!

Thank you for the reply everyone has been great on here, AEA does seem top in selection in the big bore and prices I can afford..I'm thinking either 457 or the 58..58 has high amount fpe..the ol 45 70 has put alot meat on the table 1 shot kills at 1200 fps so a hard decision haha maybe 1 of each
