Yeah. Subject says it. I've a little 177 benjamin marauder that I've been playing with for use in a local club field target monthly meet - have been working on tuning the gun and getting side wheel marked up for ranging. I filled the gun once this morning and went through the 70-80 shots that I get with it @present setup on a full fill (3000 psi). Hooked it back up to the nomad to fill it again and . . .
. . . the nomad won't even power up. NOTHING. It's a $700.00 brick.
I found my invoice, order number, etc . .. and have fired off an e-mail to Pyramid Air re: "why is my two month old nomad ii dead?"
Yes - I've maintained it to the letter per the documentation - I even oiled it and changed the air filter just this morning.
Needles to say - I've been googling around - apparently there are a lot of these things spontaneously dying. Any of you in here own one / had any issues with it? This thing (literally) gave me ZERO indication of any issues - wasn't making any strange or loud or unusual noises, wasn't running high on the load - typically ran between 20-23, nor was it taking an excessive time to fill . . . it just - - died. {sigh}
Grrrrrr . . . . not a happy camper.
