It’s 3 months old and works flawless on 110 volts but I tried it in the field today with car battery hook ups and when I turned it on the load screen said “HI” and it continuously beeped. Does anyone know why that happened?

Disappointing to hear. I like the concept of this compressor specifically to leave in a vehicle but reports of issues such as you note seem plentiful. Hope you get it resolved.

Make sure that 12v adapter is plugged in correctly and secure into the unit then connect the + red battery terminal then the black - negative be sure both air and moisture bleed screws are snug. Did you try power off then bleed out all pressure then disconnect then reconnect everything including power adapter and 12v battery? Have you ever did a NO-NO by trying to restart to boost more pressure while it was still under pressure? Yo!

Don't expect your car battery to run the compressor. It needs to run off the alternator while the engine is running.

Start the compressor first then start the motor. you won’t get that working until the compressor shuts off, then you’ll get it , so just turn the car off. The system doesn’t like the alternators output voltage, but mine didn’t complain while it was running.
Oh, I always start the nomad with the second bleed valve open to reduce the load on the motor!

I ran mine in the field once. Gave the Hi, but worked? I think I'll be using it at home only because I don't have a sturdy enough table and won't be putting it on the ground to use it.
