Spent nearly a week learning to cast with alot of culled slugs being re-melted, but, I finally got the hang of it & these are shooting very well from my Condor now. They would not chamber well after sizing to .249, so I ordered a .248 sizer & they are much better fit now. Also had to slow them down into the mid 940 fps range by using a 2800 PSI fill rather than a 3000. I also weighed the slugs & held the weight tolerance to 0.3 gr. What seems odd to me is that my rifle shoots .250 & .249 swagged slugs very well, but requires a lower fill & .248 Dia for cast slugs.?? Anyhow, haven't figured the B.C yet! But they have very little drop @ 50 yrds after sighting @ 35 yrds.
