No shortage of Gophers

I got this gopher between sips of my second cup of coffee this morning. I had to thread the pellet between canes of a thornless blackberry, not easy for a wobbly old guy trying to do a off-hand shot. I don't usually try to shoot un-supported unless I am messing around with targets. I guess I got lucky and had just enough caffeine in my system to pull it off.

18 yard shot, entered left of center in the upper back and exited just in front of the right arm and grazed its right wrist. The Gamo Urban with the Bug Buster is perfect for my gopher pesting, if you need a basic no frills...accurate, reliable and hand pumpable rifle you might consider one similar to this. This was my first PCP and it was the gateway drug to my airgun addiction.

Arrowhead1951 that caffeine may have given you the edge shooting through canes of any blackberry plant. That shot would be a chore for even young eyes. Your right those simple Bug Busters do earn their keep upon any weapon when it comes to pests.

That's a big gopher for sure!! I got roof rats here that are attracted to citrus trees in my neighborhood and my garden. I have gotten a few so far this month.
