Oh wow, that sounds like their crowning process is worse now than ever. A few years ago at least there was a decent chance the rifling would be undisturbed.

Which is a tacit admission from both Umarex and Diana that they don’t care enough about quality to fix this very basic workmanship issue that has been around for over 5 years. What a shame.

The pellets come off the lands evenly, allowing accuracy.

Im cutting one down in a few minutes, I'll take pix.

Well yeah, something’s going on because the Notos seems to get good marks from owners. But the idea of accuracy in spite of rifling damage is no way to set up a production line.

Maybe lucky 7 is a real thing. All 7 of my SPA guns have awesome barrels.
