Has anyone ever charged up with nitrogen? If so, was there any advantage to it? How and where did you fill your tank?

Hey bud. There is an Air Tanks and such section in the Accessories area with more detail on this topic.
I use nitrogen, but not because of it being dryer. I looked at it mostly as possibly being cheaper than a compressor (if I have troubles with a compressor as lots do). It is more convenient than going to a fire dept or a paint ball shop (which is not close). And the dry air is a plus.
I got my tank and refills from my local Airgas.

I also have a nitrogen tank for my "at home" shooting....VERY convenient as they do all the work, swap tanks etc. I just pay a monthly fee and that is it and with the PSI and the volume of the nitrogen tanks you can shoot and shoot!!
Georgia Airguns sells the valve for them if you need one (Charlie, the owner there has been using nitrogen for years with no issues)....

Many paintball shops fill with nitrogen and I shot with it for a couple of years. It was a bit expensive for my 3000-3500psi fill though so got a Yong Heng, so I can fill to 4200psi, and never looked back. If you get a rented or one of the very large 6000psi steel tanks it can get much less expensive depending on where you fill.

I’ve used nitrogen and I think it’s the way to go accept for one thing. The gas companies at least in my area will not deliver to a residence. As a result you have to man handle the tanks. I’m soon to be 74 and I just decided this was not right for me.
