ninja bottle and which valve/reg??? newbie confused.

Just got my first pcp, Artemis pp800 pistol. Nice price.

Got a used ninja cf bottle on the way, really nice price.

All my hunting Google, eBay, Amazon doesn't give much on the way of solutions. How do I get full fill out of my bottle into my gun. ( Also assuming will need over 3000psi fill for future rifle)

The only items that seem right are like the $300 ninja ez valve. Surely you gentlemen have sourced 4500 psi reg or unreg valves for small cf bottles? Without costing more than the pcp and scope???

I really really want to know. Hard to imagine scba tank in the wild for hunting.

Appreciate in advance😃

I have one of the Ninja ez units they are really nice. It's the only one I found to fit the 5/8 x 18 threads that the bulk of the small paintball bottles have and I looked hard cuz I did not want to pay the price either.

Bio, it seems you have been there. I don't do paint ball, and all the YouTube pcp didn't educate enough about bottle basics. I thought scuba and scba were 2nd choice, but it seems easier to set them up.

I have a adjustable reg coming from China, but I hadn't noticed there are 2 sizes of thread like you say. Although most on eBay are metric? Didn't know would be different from most popular brand. (And the high end slp reg coming on my bottle, can only do 300 psi only, not adjustable)

Just seems strange that no one (eBay) has a generic unreg reg for pcp use.

3000 reg and a micro bore hose is the most likely combo, but the rifles I am interested in are definitely over 3000 fill. And small bottle is a must. Backpack carry is the idea.

That's why I am here again. Hours on each site, no affordable answer in sight.

Ok bluemoon_wulf.
The correct info is as follows

Vinny , thanks. If possible I would like my reg to be useable. 300 is def wrong end of the scale. I wonder if SLP version is doable for Dalton. Any chance you have his email to confirm I wouldn't waste his time?

Pm is ok to not put his email out there. Thanks

Yes, most tanks that are not paintball tanks on eBay are metric 18 x 1.5 although every now and then a 7/8 x 14 shows up. Aliexpress has loads of inexpensive tanks and valves/regs. But as far as I know all of the Ninja tanks would be the 5/8 x 18 thread as Ninja tanks are all paintball tanks.

So first get the gun and shoot it over the chronograph and see where your shot string is the longest and fill to that preasure at the top of that string. It's often way lower than the maximum fill pressure. It could even be 2700 or something. Then you will save a ton of air that way. I would consider getting a cheap aliexpress pump. 38 bucks for one free shipping. Then get a 15 dollar air filter off ebay and some dessicant from Amazon then decide after shooting the gun 10 times or so you can make a wiser decision reguarding what your needs are. Definitely get a bottle tho just say in maybe you might just need a lower fill pressure. Less is often more with airguns. Hi pressure does not always mean more shot count on a string or power. Maybe that dude would lower it for you. Jmo have fun with your new gun hope you kill tons of tree chickens and rabbits.

This seller on Ebay has it for $175 -- I do not know them and am not affiliated in any way: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ninja-PCP-EZ-Valve-V2-Fill-Station-for-Air-Rifle-Up-to-4500PSI-Output-Pressure/123978713577?hash=item1cddb509e9:g:RtkAAOSw3DtdyAND

I own the 90 cu-in Ninja tank with EZ valve and it's incredible and I highly recommend the valve alone. Makes filling an air gun a piece of cake and it's not problem prone. Filling the tank is equally easy because of the male QC fitting with check value. No magic gauge reading and cracking open the valve at the right time to equalize the pressure. The microbore hose is very flexible and it works great.

Open the valve, fill the gun, close the valve and it'll auto-bleed the hose. Dual gauges make it nice but I tend to just read my air gun gauge when filling. It's nice knowing how much pressure I have in the tank without needing to dead head it.

My personal recommendation would be to mate your Ninja tank with the EZ valve. Plus if you ever decide to get a bigger tank you can always do this -- https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/wts-7-8-to-5-8-bottle-adapters-for-scba-tanks/

The EZ Valve isn't regulated it's just got a slow-fill restrictor on it. When I fill my guns I just crank it open and monitor the pressure gauge on the rifle, once it's happy, I shut it off and then it bleeds. I fill the bottle to 4500 PSI. I use this fill procedure everytime until I can no longer fill to 220 bar. Then if I want to shoot tethered at this point I just hook up the bottle and open it up since it'll be at 220 bar or less or I head off the refill it.

Hey Silent, that one I can answer. There is no regulating. You turn off the air flow once your bottle is full. Your rifle pressure can go as high as the bottle pressure. So you can fill any pcp, but have to monitor the filling process.

That is why this thread. My pp800 is 2900psi, but if I get a huben I will need much higher fill potential.

No apologies necessary at all, my friend. I'm a huge fan of the Ninja EZ Valve because I can fill to 4500 PSI and then fill my air guns to any pressure I desire. When I can no longer fill to say... 220 bar, I can then tether at that point until it reaches regulator drop-off pressure at around 160 bar.

What I really like is no need to open the bottle valve to fill it. The male QC on the neck of the valve with check valve makes for an error free filling from my LC-110. I don't have to do the monitor-and-equalize mating dance between the compressor and the bottle.

If I had it to go over, I would buy it again.
