Nikote/Nickel-Boron Plated Parts

The Blue Fork AR grip and stainless Don Cothran breech have undergone treatment by CCR Refinishing.

Hard to capture the shade difference between the bare beadblasted parts vs the coated ones but they look exactly like this AR part in person:

It took 4 weeks for me to get the parts back ️

Worth the wait, as they look splendid!

You know, the plating on the aluminum parts look more resplendent and smoother compared to the ones on the steel/stainless.

I was actually expecting the opposite 

Oh, a bit of off topic; the AR adapter was made for me by Mr. Al/Gippeto (GTA) of Canada.

The material is 440(?) stainless and very solid.

Amongst my AR adapters for the 22xx/13xx (JSAR and RAI), the Gippeto iteration has the the best adapter to tube interface.

I think he is in the process of making some for the PROD.
