Nighttime RATS

The rws 8.3 superdome is becoming my favorite rat pellets. 3 for 3 tonight between 15-30 yards. I shoot at them out of the up stairs window at night alot. Im using an s500 with the power dialed to 850 fps with the superdomes. Its about as slow as I can get them and its perfect. Got that last one right in the neck peekin over the rocks it was such an awesome shot lol. I dont know why but I get more excited shooting rats than hunting big game!

@vmaxpro ... "I dont know why but I get more excited shooting rats than hunting big game!" I DO!

Nice shooting Sir and 30 is a long ways out. Can't remember your ratting 'station' setup, do you have a station or they just come into a normally litup area?

I had an S400.177 and it was a saweeet gun.

Just got up at 4am and baited my station with PB and chocolate syrup, hoping for a visitor.

No station needed in the desert. These friggin rats are everywhere in the rocks at night. Most of them are caught on my citrus trees.
