For anyone else wondering what the child would look like if a March 3-24 conceived a child from a 7-35 ATACR, it would probably look something like this:

Damn! you Yanks get eveything first, just waiting for the NX8 myself now, got 2 ATACR's and have the March as well, the NX8 really looks to be the best of both worlds! mag range & PX distance, length and also light VS the normal NF weight!

That was the hope! I haven't had time yet to test it in depth. From the little time that I have spent with it thus far, I can say that at higher magnifications - it's no ATACR. It is certainly not nearly as forgiving, but I expected that having run the March exclusively this last couple of months (being 50mm vs 56mm, 30mm vs 34mm, compact vs. not).
I'll spend more time with it this weekend and share my observations.

Oh! and there I was thinking the 1/3 difference in price was just because the illumination setting wasn't gold!

I am an NF guy myself, thanks to your post it looks like i’ll be going with the atacr for my long range 257 raptor build. Now I just gotta decide between ffp vs sfp
i also plan on putting an ivey adjustable 200moa scope base/mount on it. should get me out to 1000 yards with little effort.

Man, those mounts are cool! I am STILL trying to get an elevation canting solution that I like worked out for my Crown. I have two sets of adjustable rings (FX and Burris) and have tried them with the UTG 0.5" rail risers, and my scope sat almost 2.75"!
If I could jack up either the FX or Burris rings to ~2.1-2.2", I would be elated. Weight is also a concern, since I want this rifle to be for both hunting and BR using the same scope and mounting system.
P.S. - I shot some video today with my NX8 and my ATACR at variably ranged paper targets (I need a day or two to process the videos). The 4-32 totally hung with the ATACR up to 335m, where the big guy may have been marginally better. Ditto for viewing out to 1km, the margin was slightly better - but they were both

Between the mirage and the poor focal quality of the iPhone, it didn't come out anywhere close to what the sight picture actually looked like. I have a fancy new scope cam setup now, so I'll try and get some better footage to upload this weekend.
