Reminds me when I was a kid. My brothers had a couple farms with hog barns that were full of birds. We would go out after dark with a flashlight and shoot for hours. I wonder how many yellow boxes of Sheridan pellets I burned through that Blue Streak. Your video is excellent too.

I just have one problem with your video, please kill those starlings. I would love to see a video of getting them as primary targets.

Turns out there will be another raid of this barn! I went back there today to shoot the stragglers in daylight, and there were about 15 on the roof and another 20 or more inside. Lots of starlings hanging around too. Next time I'll go on a night where I don't have to work in the morning so I can stay longer.
I don't know if it was here or on youtube, someone asked if I was showing off by taking head shots.......the answer is no. With the Streamline on Low power, that's only 10 ft.lbs of energy, marginal for body shots. Aiming for the head whenever I could was me being responsible, not showing off. As accurate as the Streamline is, especially at close ranges, and as stable a rest as I had for most of those shots, there was no excuse for not going for the head when I could.
Now get me outside where I use High power, rarely do I attempt a head shot. Sometimes I end up hitting them in the head, but it's normally not intentional.

WOW that is so cool , BOB what caliber and speed and what kind pellets do you use inside of barn ? I know you said you turned down power .

I was using JSB Exact RS..13.43gr I think they are. Low power is about 500fps....though I've never chrono'd it.

Bob, I sure hope you are wearing some kind of breathing protection when you in there with all that pigeon poop. I mean it. Great shooting, and thanks for making and sharing the video.Â
