Night time barn raid - 66 feral pigeons down!

Working on the video right now. Not sure if I can get it done tonight. I really should just go to sleep but I have to be up in 3 hours anyway so I may as well pull an all-nighter!

I think I'll just make it quick and dirty, it's all through the X-Sight anyway, not a fancy production.

Thank you Jim.

I hope I get to go back during the day maybe this weekend and take care of any stragglers. If nothing else, maybe the work I did here will lead to some other permissions in the area by referral. That's how I got this one.

The video is finalizing right now. I'll upload it before I head to work. It's a long one....40 minutes....definitely one to watch with some popcorn!!

:)

Bob, I know he's really going to appreciate that. I learned from a past experience years ago after wiping out the majority of a flock that they don't come back for a long time. Hopefully the same will happen with this farmers barn. We have a compression facility that is over run with pigeons and in some places the poop is 3" deep but the company is afraid to let me take care of the problem. I wouldn't doubt there's not 500 birds in the whole facility. Maybe one of these days they'll change their minds.

Good job Bob

JK

Bob, are you sure you weren’t playing a video game?😂 Because that was what it looked like! Nintendo’s Duck Hunt comes to mind. In all seriousness, that looked like a lot of fun! Good shooting!

This makes me lust for a Streamline due to its multiple power settings, but I have no use for it here where I live. Bravo overall.

So what scope base did you end up using to mount the ATN to the dovetail rail on the Streamline?

That's a lot of pigeons JK.....what's a compression facility?

Bob, I work in the Oil and Gas Industry and its a facility that gathers gas that we produce from the field and then re-compresses it from 300psi to 1600psi which we then we re-inject back into the ground to repeat the process. All for the sole effort to produce oil . These compressors are housed under a large medal cover/pavilion. We have five of these large compressors and all the other associated equipment which are powered by 2500hp electric motors. This whole facility has many places that the pigeons now call home. A big mess for sure..
