Night rodent backyard patrol CO2 22cal style

I put my cheap home cam back up with a battery pack, usually lasts 14ish hours, to see what is coming around the bird feeder at night. I also have a IR floodlight for the backyard. The most activity I get is from 2000-2200. I set up at 2030 and got these two in about 20min.

I've cut back on the feeding in the morning and just put out what will be eaten during the day, but I also have a squirrel feeder that keeps some peanuts in it. So far the rats haven't figured that out.

So I set up my Crosman 2250 to be my night IR rifle, perfect for rats and mice. My current NV is a NVS30, which makes head shots difficult, so I usually just body shot them. I bought the NV before my eyes started failing me, now I have to wear cheaters to see the screen.

Its grouping 22cal Hades very well. Right now I have DonnyFL Tatsu on it as my Tanto is out on loan.

Did a three shot group before dark with the NV on so could verify zero.

The mouse ended up getting it in the head. The rat dropped and scurried to the other side of my fence and died from the body shot.
