I'm still dialing the Pard in and this is my first attempt with it on rabbits at night. It was pitch black, the rabbit is at about 30 yards. I could barely see my hand in front of my face.

Might check, but Indiana you can hunt rabbit at night with moon light ,but not artificial light. Rabbit considered game animal not fur-bearing.

I may turn down the mag on my scope, currently at 18x. FOV is a bit small and at night it was a problem finding the rabbit.

The Pard007s has a built in magnification of 4x. So use a 3x scope or less if you have one so that your field of view is at 12x. I have been using the Pard007S with my Element Helix 6-24x50mm scope and I have a hard time spotting or finding the coyote quickly at 24x zoom. I have ordered and waiting for the new Helix 2-16x50mm scope and it should give me a wider FOV at 8x.

What is the lowest magnification of your scope? My understanding with the Pard007S is that its "zero" zoom is already at 4x. Hence the large zoom image you see in your video.

yup. I am waiting for my new Helix 2-16x50mm scope. Hopefully it will help me locate the coyote quicker now and give me extra time to get it on target and shoot.

Thanks, I lowered the magnification on my scope a bit and got the FOV and total mag I wanted. Love this thing.

Hey Guys
Do any of these NV scope have different colored reticules, besides RED?,
I am color blind to 4 different colors, and can't see Red,
I would love a Blue or Yellow colored cross hairs.
I know they come with different style of reticules......
