Is there anyone who can chime in of a good night optic. I am looking at the new ATN 4k 5x20x50. I want to do some rat hunting and would like imput on others .

Are they even in stores yet? There are very few YT reviews on the 4k models just yet. But if they live up to the hype, sounds like it's going to be a really nice scope with much better resolution of the viewing screen, especially at higher magnifications. The 2 previous/current models are really popular. All kinds of YT reviews on those.

I’m looking for a night time option as-well. I’ve got my eyes on the newer Nitesite Wolf R-tek. I’ve seen on YT some in use and performance looks good enough for me. I like the fact that it can be moved to another AG or powder gun very easily.

I like the Nitesite too but its not cheap and I dont know if i like not using the scope up to my eye. That is my only hesitation.

I am an owner and nightly user of an ATN X Sight II HD. I'm also a member of the ATN Owner's Forum. My strong advice to anyone contemplating buying the new 4K scope to steer clear until ATN proves that it has changed its business practices and that their new scope isn't as problematic as their previous ones. Nitesite isnt too much more than ATN, dependeing on what you want it for. The nitesite illuminates your face from the screen. Depending on what you are hunting that could be a problem. I have a first gen ATN x sight, it is ok but the new one should be great. They also have a feature to save settings from other guns to make rezero easier.
