night force

I saw SHV (Fred AX & Giles etc.) which is the "budget end" of Nightforce, Matt was using an ATACR as above, this model has enormous elevation travel but you are then into 34mm rings and they are extremely heavy.

If you want 25X but a much lighter scope the March is the one to go for and it's a 30mm tube, optically just as good and still very large elevation adjustment.

Perhaps FX or the organisers (or both) are trying to push Nightforce?

I chose a Nightforce ATACR F1 4-16x42. Plenty of magnification for the 100 to 150 yards I usually target shoot at, and parallax to 45 yards (below which I never shoot with my Impact .30). It's compact at 12.6 inches and a little heavy due to the fantastic 34mm construction, features, and glass. I'm using a 20 MOA Unimount so can have huge elevation travel. Got mine through NF military sales, but still over 2K. This scope solves any quest for improvement.
