Nielson dimple point vs hollow point slugs 25 cal, and other questions

Does anybody have experience with these shooting from a 600mm Dreamline slug bbl?

I'm curious to know which is more stable at distance and what is your max distance?

Both come at around 34gn

Also, I've been reading that pellets are accurate from a slug bbl, but not the other way around.

And the guys at Utah airguns suggest that slugs are more accurate from a shorter bbl?

Thanks, Kevin

Not a Dreamline but an Impact 700 slug barrel. The NSA 34gr dimples and hollowpoints both shot MOA and sub MOA when the gun was tuned for them. The dimple nosed slugs shot a little higher and slightly better from my gun. The max distance I shot was 150 yards. Nine shots out of 16 hit a three inch target four others were close and I don't know where the others went.

I realy like 34.7 Nielsen .. they are hands swaged , and cost more because of labor , and they are made out of pure lead . Unlike the high-speed machine that Nielsen now makes their 34gr hp Which are slightly harder and are also great and worth buying for the FX 25 Cal 600mm also. I shoot them at 960 ft./s roughly 70 foot pounds and I am grouping One and a half inches at 150 yards average with the 34.7’s

This is a picture of me cutting cards at 50 yards. I was messing around at night with my first focal plane aztec emerald I went through a half deck of cards .
