Are working awesome in the 177 uragan standard..between 990 n 1000 + fps ..complete accuracy at 120y + ..tuned by Derek wall...to bad I can't post pictures of the group at 40y .. some 16g n 18g..177 griffin arrived today let's see how those work..
Everything seem to fly well out of my Vulcan 3 with the CZ barrel, but when weather improve i am still going to only focus on finding the best pellet to shoot.
I am hoping the new 700 barrel i put on my Maverick are happy shooting slugs, cuz that is now the plan for that rifle.
My tune was for the 13.43 .. at 1040 fps .. it turned out to much for them... but perfect for the NSA even for the 12.5 g a light hold over n the 15g hit on the same spot.. it also like the griffin cup base slug .from 13g to 16g . Not the flat base or the RBT .. I tried 18g to just for the fun..but it proved to be to much armonics changed..
I have always loved the .177, and having an extra Impact MK1 laying around, I decided to make it a .177 slugger! I Upgraded the plenum to the MK2 Power Plenum figuring the extra plenum would help with slugs. First slug I bought was the NSA 15gr .177. added pin probe and Huma Dual Transfer port, 500mm barrel, Reg at 160 bar. Ill check the FPS later today, it was at 905 with reg at 150, and using the FX port and probe. Not sure where I am now with the changes.
My new caliber to have fun with too. What's not to like? Cheap, accurate, powerful, easy on the gun... I have friends that reach out to 150+ tagging Pdogs no problem. Very excited about this caliber.
I have a pulsar 177 hp the gun likes the nsa and the KO’s as well. And here lately I have been shooting the KO’s and the nsa 12.5 @730-740fps with outstanding results, and the slugs work well at all power levels. I have just been enjoying the amount of shots and the accuracy at slower speeds.
