That's the big dairy two hours from me. I haven't been there in a couple of months, but may pay a visit this weekend. Should be woodchucks out by now and plenty of birds as well.

Dale,

That's the BCM Gunfighter grip, more vertical as I prefer.....it was my favorite on the AR-15. Though the color is a lighter grey than I was expecting.

VK 26gr HP slugs did a number on all the starlings, but especially these two....it was actually worse than it looks. 😮

Blew those starlings to pieces! Whoa! Nice shooting!

Hey Bob, check out this grip. I like vertical grips too and this one even has a thumb rest and palm shelf which I really like. I shot a buddies gun with one on it the other day and liked it so much I ordered one. I need another grip like a hole in the head, I have probably 10 laying all over the place that I've tried on my different AR's over the years. This grip is really, really comfortable though. You may or may not like it but I thought you might want to check it out.

How is the wind in your shooting areas and range distance of shots. Just got home from a 4 day hunt wind was a big problem. .22 18.13s good at about anytime to 50 yards then a big guess. Shooting ground squirrels even with just an eye shot at speakers out to 50 and just a little into the wind hold off. Point, used the Crown quite a bit but then to the 17Hmr, love the crown. No noise and my spotter wife really likes it. Anyway longest Crown 100 with 4"-6" hold off for squirrels and birds, longest HMR 271yards 18" hold off for a rock Chuck.
