I am relatively new to Airguns. I have a RWS Diana rifle and accompanying pistol but beyond those I have never fired another brand or type. I am looking for suggestions. My interest lies in plinking, varmints and the occasional raccoon and coyote. Price range $1-$1200 or so. Thanks for the advice.

If you don't want to go PCP and are content with springers then based on your budget the Diana 54 Air King Pro or the RWS 54 in 22 would be the most accurate easiest to shoot that will enable accurate 100 yards and beyond shots.

If you want to go PCP be mindful you will need a reliable source of air.

All of those fit in your budget. If you want cheap get the Benjamin Fortitude for $289 and a $40 walmart HPA pump

Keep an eye open on classifieds for an fx dreamline. They usually go for around 750$ used. I have a lot of lower cost pcps and they're great but I find the power, adjustability and light weight of the fx is worth the extra money. Any chinese 50$ hand pump will get you started. If you are wanting to stay away from pcp guns I agree the airking is probably the best for your needs.

I’d maybe consider the Benjamin Marauder kit that includes the compressor, all for about $1300. Pyramid air is good for backing up the products they sell. Marauders are good rifles in my opinion.
