Newbie question on controlled filling of air rifle

When filling from a tank I use a fitting with a flow restrictor to help slowdown and control speed of the fill
Here is one from Pyramyd
Other suppliers may have them as well

JB Tanks normally use a "Slow-Fill" valve. You still wanna crack it open slowly and not open it much. It will barely move the needle, it's supposed to do that.
DO NOT LEAVE THE TANK FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME AND WATCH THE TANK GAUGE AS IT APPROACHES THE FILL PRESSURE!
As stated by Gerry 52, YOU are the shut-off switch.

I worried about filling my Prod from my Yong Heng because it only stores 60cc at up to 3000. I quickly learned that it still takes most of a minute and is very controllable. Now I use the YH to fill a bottle and fill guns from it including the Prod. That can be even faster but is also very controllable. Fast fills are undesirable anyway. The air heats up and then you don't have the pressure you think you have. Best to go slow.
