Newbie practice

First shot was a bit left so I made a scope adjustment and shot the rest. Shot the first 10 shots at the upper bull then dropped down with a different pellet and shot 10 then two fives.
Switched back to original pellet and shot two 5 shot groups.
Unregulated S510 starting at 1.9 bar and ending up at about 1.25 bar with no scope adjustments except for the one after the first shot. Only 35 yards.
Still getting some fliers which most likely reflects on the shooter and not the rifle. Not pellet on pellet for sure but I’m getting a few more in the bull.
Was glad to see two different pellets shot close to the same point.

We compete at 25 Meters, 25 yards, 50 meters, and 50 yards. depending on the venue and sanctioning body... you should do testing and practice at those distances to get real world results. tomorrow we are having an informal shoot at 50 feet with the NRA A-36 targets. It is a bit close, but the target is very hard considering how close we are. It should be fun. There are a few guys that show up with Air Arms 510s, I have been impressed, by them and also the Daystate Huntsmans that show up. good shooting.
