I just purchased a yong Heng compressor for my air guns and my 6.8 liter carbon fiber tank. I’ve only used it a total about 3 times and when I went to fill up the 6.8 liter tank I had to run it twice, first fill got the tank to just under 2000psi. The second fill got the tank up to about 3600psi but the gauge on the compressor would go up the full 300 bar. After I let it rest a day or so I went to fill up my S45 which was empty and again the compressor is reading 300 bar but the gauge on the gun is only about 225 bar. Has anybody had a similar experience? I’m very doubtful there’s a leak but tomorrow I’m going to throw on a dead head on the fill whip and use my leak detector and see if what I find. I just bought a second Yong Heng for a back up/parts if needed, I’m going to fill that with oil tomorrow and see if that one does any better but I’m at a loss as to why the Yong Heng is getting up to 300 bar but won’t fill either my guns or big tank to the full 4500 psi

The heng gauges are suspect at best. Always have a secondary guage you trust inline with them. the bourdon tubes in the guage are sub par ime. In the end mine was so worn that I had to be set almost 1k over my desired pressure to fill some items.

I put this together to check tanks and compressors. About 22 bucks for gauge and male foster off Amazon.
