That's what I'm trying to do; mate a WC with a RAW!"Hynzie"
now if only the powers that be,,would combine them 2 ,,we would have a WILDRAWCAT, a RAPID AIR BULLPUP <<OOOOOOOOOHHHHH,,,i feel like HOMER a RAPID AIR BULLPUP ,,,i would love to see it in the future ,, this setup would ROCK
now only if the powers would combine those
Yes, Centercut; those are indeed FX No-Limits mounts (11mm dovetail, 1" tube). I am itchin' to get 'er out in the field, as well!"Centercut"Good looking WC, are those the FX no limit rings? Looking forward to hearing how it shoots. Have fun! And I agree, Black is the new Walnut! Or, as Wesley Snipes said in Passenger 57, "Always Bet on Black"![]()
I damn near went with the .22. More compact and lighter with an insane shot count! Yeah, I went with the uber-practical tactical look; this will be an exclusively hunting rifle."Tweeter"Great looking setup there! I just got a wildcat also, mine is .22. Loving it so far and absolutely love these FX synthetic stocks. I'd choose the synthetic over their walnut stock any day.
I have three mags on backorder from AOA. I'm told they should be in in a few days."Matt247365"
You're welcome
Nice Magholders marcella. You got the extra mags for it?
Matt
I live only 360 miles from AOA, so I get it like the next day!"Hynzie"yep talked with kevin at AOA today ..he said a big FX order due in any day im sure hell get your mags over to you soon
Well, I've owned a .22 (Benjamin Marauder), another .25 (Daystate Pulsar), a .30 (FX Impact), and a .357 (RAW HM 1000x). For small game, I found the .25 cal. in a bullpup to be the best all-round rifle. The FX Wildcat .25 is uber-accurate, has plenty of power, a high shot count, and is light and compact."markT"Beautiful.. Booth of them!! . just a question as to why you went with the 25 cal? Accuracy, varmints, etc? Thanks, Mark
To my understanding, the Wildcat is not designed to accommodate interchangeable barrels. You would have to buy a .25 cal. WC. I would ask a dealer."Yote"I also have a question for you .I own the WC in 22cal. Can I switch to a 25 cal and other than changing barrels would I need to change enything eles? Also where would I find a 25 barrel? Thanks in advance. Ron
This is America; the only factors limiting the possibilities are your imagination and the contents of your wallet."Tweeter"Ernest Rowe added a .25 barrel onto a wildcat to make a ".25 compact" but I'm not sure if it was a "bolt on" mod. He'd be the guy to ask though, he may be able to shorten a .25 cal smooth twist barrel to the same length as a .22 and then all you should need is a new probe. Also it would take some internal work to get the power up and the shot count would suffer.
All depends how far you're willing to go I guess.
Definately, Yote; I'm not a fan of modifying engineered systems. You're just asking for trouble."Yote"So I'm thinking it would be easier to sell the 22 and just buy a 25 cal. Thanks for the replies
