Hello Airgun Nation, I'm new to the forum and airgunning. I'd just like to share some pics from this weekend's plinking sessions with my Crossman Fury 177 and Benjamin Titan 22. I'm very impressed with the results of these under $100 guns. The ammo used is Benjamin 177 HP and Premier 22 HP. Used soda cans filled with water at 30 Yd. I look forward to being a member of your forum.

I just blasted a couple of water filled soda cans with my TalonP myself. Makes quite a pop! Interesting how the big rip is always on the side of the can the pellet hits first. I guess since the pellet creates a puncture when it passes through the front of the can, this is the point where the pressure of the exploding water is relieved and so the can rips open on the front side. At least that is what happened with my two cans.

I like me some cheap guns too, but Whats up with the mystery machine looking hippy bus on the table? I like THAT! The surfing/rocking bear is cool too!

Cheap guns do not equate to bad guns, expensive guns do not always equate to good guns. welcome and enjoy the fun sport that can be had for really cheap. Just picked up 2 tins of crossman .22 pellets at Walmart for 13 bucks, that’s 1000 pellets or 1.3 cents each!

Love the “new guy” posts with break barrels, pumpers and co2. So many fond memories shooting those Airguns and they are still fun today. Sometimes it is just about keeping fun simple. Welcome aboard.

I love shooting water filled cans with my .22 break barrel and wadcutters or Crosman Destroyers. Try buying a case of the cheapest soda you can find. Set it out in the sun for an hour or two, then shake the cans before shooting them. I've had some rip in two pieces. Red soda looks best when exploding.

You might be a redneck an airgunner if you ask yourself “Should I shoot this first?” before throwing anything into the recycling bin. A true airgunner will answer “Yes! Yes I should!”

Great I'll give that a try! I did manage to find a couple of old spray paint cans for targets. They were pretty amusing to shoot.

I'm already looking at big bore pcp guns. The trouble is trying to convince the wife that it's essential to spend over $1000 on an air rifle.

LMNOP, yes I did. My oldest stepson recently purchased his first 22 break barrel. A Ruger. Last night we had great time trying it out.
