Yes, and its pretty sweet.
I was skeptical at first to spend the money but I have been bobcat hunting for the last 2 years, and a bobcat is huge on my bucket list.. In my opinion the 5.5 base magnification is too high for close range pesting like rats. Anything closer than 10 yards is kind'of a pain. But the larger objective lens is a plus and when I found this one it was such a good deal I jumped on it.
What really sold me on the idea is the thought of being able to spot bobcats during the day with the thermal. As you see in the vid, everything else is grey and the heat signature really stands out. So during deer rifle season, which coincides with bobcat season, I will be able to call for bobcats and instead of scanning with my poor range-finder looking for well camouflaged cats, I will be able to scan with the thermal and they will stand out big time. After that I started thinking about using it to scan areas during deer season walking in and out of the stand, giving me an edge NOT spooking deer..
Not to mention the night time ratting and pesting opportunities..after all that, it was a no brainer.
