New veteran owner with questions

Hi I recently purchased a taipan veteran from talon tunes. I'm curious if there is any benefit to to 700mm barrel without the power plenum?

When I replaced an OEM barrel on my Taipan vet long (546mm, I believe) with a 700mm barrel, the velocity increased noticeably with no other tuning changes.

I've also added power plenums to my Vets and gotten increased shot count. However, I opted to increase the regulator pressure and the hammer spring tension for more power; this power increase cuts into the shot count.

For me, the longer barrel and power plenum compliment each other for increased efficiency of the rifle.

I have a Taipan Vet Long in .25 and it is just a lights out, power house right out of the box.
I have a .25 Taipan standard and it is perfect out of the box. I left the regulator alone and adjusted the hammer spring. Shoots the 34gr JSB pellets and slugs @ 900 fps. 30 shots and 30 inches long, hell of woods walker. Built like tank.

Thats what I have mine set at and shooting same ammo, its an absolute animal, a truly, underappreciated gun.
