Actually after a few hours of research, I discovered that carbon fiber is put into a vacuum while made. They bond it with what is essentially 2 part epoxy. Jb weld plastic epoxy has a 4500 psi tensile strength and is safe for carbon fiber. I have been using that to secure the shroud of my hammer since this post. I shoot it pretty often, and thus far, no issuesNot familiar with the Hammer but I would strongly suggest NOT using JB Weld for the shroud problem! I'm sure there are other more correct & appropriate ways to fix that. Reach out here on the forum for help.
