I've got an Optika5 (4-20) on my Kratos. I like it so much more than all my other scopes that I am thinking of selling them all and just buying more of the same Optika5.

My comparisons are Cabellas Covenant 4,5, and 7, Crimson Trace 5-25, Hawke 4-16 compact, Nikon ProStaff, MTC 5-30, and some even cheaper ones. (utg, aimsports, etc.)

The only Scope I like as much as my Optika5 is the Optica6 4.5-27x FFP, but it costs a lot more and frankly, I don't like it that much more. Optically, clarity, detail, it is no better. Just bigger and more range, and FFP.

The other scopes in the Meopta Price range, Crimson Trace and MTC,.the MTC is a POS. It came premounted on my LCS, and I really do not like the optics. Literally muddy in low light, it looks like I ma looking through a window screen. Everything about it externally is great, the dials, the caps, all very user friendly and features I'd love on my other scopes, but the optics are literally the worst of all of the above. At less than half the price a Cabellas Covenant Chinese optics are cleaner. The Crimson Trace is fine optically, probably the next best thing I have compared to the Meopta's I own,. but it's HUGE and heavy with not that much more magnification, and still not as clean as the Meopta's. If you don't get them used or on sale, they cost more than the Meopta, so that's a non starter.

The Optika 5 4-20 also focuses closer than any other scope I own that claims "10 yards" Side by side vs. other 10 yrd scopes set to low magnification it offers clear image at 6 feet closer than the Hawke, etc.. This is a nice addition.
