New to pcp world

I wish we could help, but, you've just identified one of the biggest problems of air guns. It's all mail order. I've got Airgun Depot and Utah Airguns within an hour of me, but neither really has a showroom. Utah Airguns is the closest to having a show room, but since they mainly do mail order, they only have half dozen guns on the shelf. I wish you luck in finding a place

If your new to PCP I'll just list some of the entry level PCP's you may want to consider, There is the $249 Umarex Gauntlet / $249-$299 Hatsan Flash / $299 Benjamin Fortitude / ...I'm sure I'm forgetting one. Also here is a video on how to get a cheap PCP tank: ...

Also, I didn't know this for a long time, for accuracy you need a gun that is "regulated". Make sure any gun you buy has a regulator or you get one put in.

P.S.
www.HatsanUSA.com they have good re-furbished deals section. Any gun you get from them will be in excellent near new cond. in perfect working order. You can get a Bull Boss or something for like $399.... (BullBoss is not regulated)

I just bought a used Impact. so far, results excellent. Purchased from AoA, They had used Streamlines a few days ago. try their used page.

It's been stated that a regulator is required for accurate shooting. Not always the case. My Marauder can shoot quarter sized groups at 75 yards if I do my part. You just have to spend time with the gun and get to know it. Regulated guns are easier to shoot accurately, but it's not always required.

Used Wildcat's with standard Smooth Twist barrel may begin to show on the used market as well, since the MKII came out. both are excellent guns. If the dealer is reputable, I wouldn't hesitate to buy used. If the dealer is sketchy, you might want to thing twice.
