Hi guys just got my First PCP gun Air Venturi Avenger .25. Not new to Airguns as I got my first Weihrauch HW35EB in 1976, but this gun is way more powerful than even my Beeman R1/HW 80.
Got a Spiritech Compressor off Amazon and it seems to work OK. Have only shot about 60 rounds thru it so far with JSB Exacts and JSB Kings. After I get the Zero refined a little more and understand how and where the velocity bleeds off, adn the gun breaks in some more I am looking at some real spectacular results. I have less than $800 in this whole set up, and for $350 these guns are definitely way above their price point! I have $600+ in my R1 and this gun is easily twice as powerful.
Anyway looking forward to many happy days shooting it adn hopefully I will be going to Florida in the spring to shoot Iguanas. Air Venturi owes a debt of gratitude to all of the You Tube videos on shooting Iguanas down there as that is what got me and many others interested in PCP's!
I feel this gun is a home run of epic magnitude for AV! They knocked it clean out of the park!
