I just bought my first pcp airgun a umarex gauntlet 22. So I have a question do you need to let the air out of it every time you put it away for the week. Thanks

No. Some say to leave it topped off, others say to leave just inside of regulation. Nobody seems too worried about it either way. I've had mine for a year and have left it topped off and it hasn't hurt it one bit. I have never lost air pressure either.
Never leave it empty. Air pressure holds the orings in place and keeps out moisture.

Yup...just leave air in it. As stated above it keeps valves closed which keeps dust and moisture out. I don't think it's the the best idea to keep your gun at max fill pressure for long term storage but for a day or two is fine. Welcome to the addiction... I mean world of pcp's.

Let us know how you like the Gauntlet. I also just received my first PCP. I was considering the Gauntlet, but eventually settled on the Urban only because it looked more comfortable to carry around on a hunting trip.
