New to me TX200 MKIII Arrived Today

I just got mine in a little while ago. Fed ex delivered it along with a Hawke sidewinder 6.5-20x44 scope. I got the scope mounted in a set of Sportsmax fully adjustable ring/mount and managed to get off about 3 or 4 shots at some soda cans before the wife called lunch, all good hits, no scope or mount adjustment. I will get some 10 meter targets out and see what it will do. I actually had a delay in working outside, as a rain shower happened by, guess that's what happens in a drought when you try to work on a new airgun outdoors.

I took liberty in enhancing your picture. It is definitely a Walnut stock. And a beauty. I should have known right off because of the oil finish. I believe the Beech stock model 200’s are spray finished as Weihrauch’s are.View attachment 277639
LH TX200's are only available in walnut.

What scope is that? Looks ideal for a hunting rig.
The scope is an Optisan CP 3-12x32. Made for springers. Very bright and compact. Really good haptic feedback on the dials with "CLICK"

I now have Hawke Airmax scopes on all my guns, some 3-9x 40 and 4-12x 50 on my TX. Very happy with them so far.

Stock looks like mine, not glossy finish but more a semi-mat oil finish which I love. Good luck w yours.

Took her out yesterday and tried some pellets and some slugs. The 8.44's grouped OK, the 10.34 grouped meh but the real winner was the Baracuda Match. One ragged hole at 50 yards, german sorcery. I tried the JSB Knockout 10.03 .177's and they looked like a shotgun pattern.

Very twangy, it might be really dry. I need to watch a teardown video on the TX200. What is the "best" kit for the TX200?

Just working some Tung oil into my new TX Walnut. 3rd coat. I will see how #4 goes. Very happy so far.
Fitted my Athlon Helos BTR Gen2 2-12 on her and, boy, what fun she is with the JSB 8.44 out to 50 and 70 yds hitting paper and steel. Silly accurate with these. The shot cycle and hold is so smooth.
