New to me raw hm1000x

I picked a used raw hm1000x 25 . Put on my razor hd gen 1 ffp scope . I'm shooting 34 gr jsb mk 2 with the hammer spring maxed it at 810 fps . It's before air Force took them over . I filled to 3300 and got 60 shots the gauge was at 150 bar and all 60 hit at the same point of aim . Stretched it out some today and found it is easily minute of sparrow at 70 yards

I do have a lathe out in the garage. The front air stripper on the barrel has like 6 holes in it and the next 2 baffles screw together and on to the air stripper. The baffles look just like the air stripper on the barrel . They all slide in to the hollow carbon fiber tube so in the plastic 2 baffles I put in more holes in them slotted the second outer ring so air can move past it either way and I did the same to the stripper on the barrel . I was thinking of rapping them with scotch brite pads with vet wrap to hold them in place when I get to it later I'll take some pics of it and measure sound level

You don’t really need to put extra holes in the baffle, the high pressure air from the muzzle will easily squeeze through, it’s more difficult for the low pressure air trapped between the carbon tube and cage to get back out. Reducing the Dia of the mono block baffle, increases dead space, reduces noise.

I have done this to a couple s .30cal and a .25, the difference is noticeable.
