Like probably a lot of you, I wait until something is gone before wanting it badly enough to buy it. Seventy five percent of the air guns I have were purchased long after their production ceased and of the models still in production at the time I bought them, many of the styles have since been changed and not for the better IMHO.
An HW35 has been missing from my meager collections of HW's for many years and I had been thinking I would like to get one. Then recently the stock and checkering pattern changed and I thought "Ugh! I don't like it" and booted myself for not buying one sooner.
Enter my friend and occasional shooting partner AJ who happened to have a low mileage, minty HW35 tuned by Motorhead he was willing to sell me. I had a spare HW diopter sight needing a gun to be put on so it was a "meant to be"!
I brought it home today and look forward to experimenting with pellets to find its favorite. I think Motorhead will also be pleased the gun remains to be enjoyed within our local airgun community.
