That's the only way to go. Great airgun - but really borring - everytime you shoot you hit the target 
And with little bit of tinkering you can reach 12Joules (8,8 ft-lb) if you like and need more jouce.

Always wanted a FWB300, but never found a used one and when they were new, way more money than I had back then. Wonder what a decent FWB300 goes for now? Sure don't need another airgun, but a FWB300 would be nice. Maybe if I sell a firearm or two, a 300 will find its way into my safe.

Well when I got home the big brown truck was just leaveing. And on the porch was my new to me FWB 300S in the box. Very nice gun. Now I have to go shoot some lol.

Would love to have a FWB 300...that shoots at around 10-11fpe?. J/K, awesome rifle, once had one, really should find another!

They don’t shoot 11 fpe nor is it recommended to try to modify it to do so. It was designed for 10M competition and is amazingly accurate at 6 fpe. Ya gotta get away from the high velocity mentality.I use mine for 25M Benchrest as most shooters do. There’s nothing better.

7,5-8 fpe that is maximum what that construction can do without loosing its quality and precision, and trying to squeeze anything more is plainly wrong. And that is more than enough for shooting paper at 25-35 meters and probably to much for shooting 10meters for what that rifle was designed for.
