New (to me) .177 RAW TM1000

Received my used RAW TM1000 that I bought here on AGN. Installed Weaver T series 36x40 scope on medium Hawke rings. Took it to the range Sunday morning, sighted it in at 50 yards. Shot a couple dime to nickel sized groups until it started blowing and swirling. Trigger is absolutely perfect. CF shroud keeps the noise down to a reasonable level. Shot JSB 10.3 very well. Haven’t tried any other pellets yet. So far so good. Stock is gorgeous. Got about 80 shots on a 200 bar fill. We’ll see how I do on it’s first 25M BR shoot. I’ll be selling my .22 DS Renegade with Huma reg on the AGN classifieds soon

@oregun, yes, I’ll be shooting it at the 50 yard BR competition at EBR. Probably not the best idea to shoot HV when modified Open class is allowed. It’ll be competitive unless the winds are swirling... at that point my 10.3 grain with .025 BC won’t do well against the .22 cal guns with BCs double that...

;)

Congratulations!n That's a beautiful rifle!. I also recently acquired a TM1000 that is very accurate. It's set up in a BM stock since that's the discipline I'll be most active in. I'll probably never be competing against a BM 500 or a BM500 Mk2 locally, but given what I've seen so far from my TM, I think it'd acquit itself well were a BM on the line with me, assuming equivalent shooting skills.
