#1 maybe consider a .30cal for 75/100 and the 22 for 25m
#2 on the Impact get a good bi-pod, seriously I don't remember seeing one Impact shooter at EBR 2016 using a rest..
#3 take the money you save on getting a rest and look at the Sightron SSIII 8-32x56 at around $800

A "benchrest" is a table and yes you need one, they are provided

If you were shooting a gun that was made for BR like a Thomas BR or a RAW BM then yes you will need a front rest. But the Impact is made to use a bi-pod with. If you take a look at the ERB 2016 results you'll see the winner of the "extreme benchrest" pro class (Ted of Ted's Holdover) used a FX Impact with a bi-pod. You would definitely benefit from a good rear rest bag.

Take a look at the Athlon Argos scope. I have the 6-24x50 BTR FFP. It's a great scop, & for $369 you can't beat it. Taker a look at the "Optics" subject here on AGN. The "Holy Grail of Scopes" thread is about the Athlon Argos. That thread is what swayed me to the scope & I'm really glad it did. Mine is mounted on my FX Wildcat .25. Have fun with your FX!

The Bald Eagle is a good rest for $165. A great scope for BR is a Mueller 8-32X44 target dot for around $250, but if you look around, you can get them for less. The optics are great and the fine cross hair is perfect for BR. I shoot mine at 28X. IMO, these scopes are as good as the Weaver T-36s.
