New to Airguns

Hi! I just got a Shanghai Model 62 air rifle and I've had lots of fun shooting it. I want to get in to the airgun community and learn about different guns and also see the competetive side of it. I just don't know where to start so I figured this post might lead to me getting to know someone in the airgun community and get involved that way. As I said I would love to get to know new people on this website so please do send me a message if you like. Thanks!

Hi Xyniz!

Welcome to Airgun Nation! This forum is the best place to start. First My advice to you is visit a local airgun shop or club, if you have one around. See if you can pick up and shoot different rifles. There are a many different types of airguns for different purposes (springers, pre-charged pneumatics, co2, etc). What do you want to do? Compete? Hunt? Just shoot for fun? Anyway whatever you want to do, make sure you have fun and be safe! If you have questions don't be afraid to ask!
