So I just got a Texan and can't even get any ammo for it. The local shop had some Venturi 9mm 127Gr. that was horrible. They also had some local cast 158 Gr. boattails in .357 that were decent, but real tight to fit. My guess was they were unsized.
So I was thinking of putting in a good size order to a caster (3000-5000) pieces and wanted to see what the consensus was on ammo type, weight and size.
He has stuff from 88-190 grain that can be sized from .356-.359 in most of the common shapes, RN, RNHP, FN, Spitzer, SWC with and without HP.
The price is right too, from about 8 cents to 13 cents each.
It's not much of a risk either as I can sell off any stuff that doesn't work at my club. They are all ammo starved like the rest of us.
I could probably make a nice little profit too.... but figured all us gun owners have been gouged to hell lately so at cost should be much appreciated.
