New scope got distorted image

Just got my new Midas tac 6-24 ffp from BFD.

Can't wait to use it but found out at max power the image is not flat from edge to edge. There is a clear distortion when moving the target from center reticle to the edge. I have used about a dozen scopes now and this has never happened till this scope. Is this normal for Midas tac? Other than that the image is clear and bright.

Just checked my Midas (not Tac) and max magnification is not distorted. I'd contact Athlon.

I have had something similar happen. Own a bunch of Aztec scopes. Got a new one about 18 months ago and it was not crystal clear at the top mag. I thought maybe I could deal with it but every time I looked through the scope it pissed me off. I called my retailer and they swapped out for a new one that was crystal clear. I asked them to double check before sending to me. So I'm saying, trade that thing in such that your satisfied. Maybe a manufacturing or shipping defect. Good luck
