New Royale 500 Accuracy Issues

Hey thanks for sharing this. I checked my Royale 400 and found mine was loose too! I can't wait to see how/if this affects my rifle too One thing I had noticed is that my view through the scope seemed to bounce more during my shots that I had expected. Maybe this tightening will steady my view during the shot cycle!

Thanks Menttaliist, I actually checked mine as well. Roughly 5 turns till it bottomed out, and snugged it up just as loose as Crusher is describing.

Wow surprised that this is a common issue, i'm glad my comment could help you guys. If that screw continues doing the same due to vibrations you can apply just a tiny bit of low or medium strenght loctite to secure it in place.

Will see will see...it's out in my vehicle because I was going to shoot today but got sidetracked and besides that...I'm afraid of the DARK...goes back to the late 60's early 70's when I seen the black and white movie...Night of the living Dead...Bwaaahahahaha......j/k.......Maybe heeheehee.

Since I posted all this stuff about the gun not being accurate, i wanted to post THIS picture to show you the change from the ones I posted before. This is 30 yards, 10 shots. This hole is about 1/2 the size of a dime. Looks like we found the answer.

Wow! Thanks ever so much. My .25 FX Bobcat had similar issues and it was doing my head in also. So when I loosened the back 3 bolts on the rail and slid that and the attached shroud forwards, I too noticed that the rear bolt (nearest to the breach) on the top of the block was loose and needed about a full turn to tighten it down (but not too much). it is now back to being super accurate. So I will add that to my future checks when accuracy drops and am going to watch for that loosening in future, just before barrel cleaning. Thanks again.

Mine was a little loose but not much,now I just need to get out and shoot to see if it did anything.
