New rifle has arrived today 10-26... Jäger EVO XP 22

Here’s my .30 cal AZ tuned Jager and a 5 shot group at 75 yards. They have a sweet spot on the fill pressure. We’re filling our Jagers to 180 bar and shooting them down to 100 bar. That’s 870 FPS to 885 FPS back to 870 FPS for 20 shots with the 44 gr JSBs. You can fill it to 220 bar and shoot the 44s over 1100 FPS with the hammer spring turned in. Just loosing the little grub screw under the side lever before you turn your hammer spring adjuster.

That rifle has enough power to shoot slugs if you fancy too. Congrats on the new gun, don’t think you’ll be disappointed as they’re a ton of .22 cal pellets to choose from. Might want to try the redesigned monsters out of it too. You’ll want to find that sweet spot too in the fill pressure. I’d start off at 190 bar and see what kind of shot string you’re getting. Play with the hammer spring alittle. Mine came shooting 1000 FPS with the 44 grains, at 200 bar, but it was a decrease in fps every shot by alittle bit. They’re fun to shoot, extremely light weight and pretty quiet until you crank the power up. That mod will help some with the bark, but I think you’ll like it in the 30-40 fpe range.

Guys, Very interesting stuff here. I am wondering how i could get one. Does any of you have any contactdetails for the manufacturer or a dealer?

pls give me a personal message... TX !

R&L airguns used to sell them in .22, .30 and .35 calibers. They started having some issues with them, longer barrels wasn’t performing like the short 18” barrels and they stopped importing them. I got a longer barreled Jager, came with a 21-5/8” barrel on it and it didn’t perform like the 18-3/4” barreled version. They’re only one sight selling the .22 jagers in the US as stated above.
