New rifle has arrived today 10-26... Jäger EVO XP 22

80 fpe can only be obtained by projectile weight, or extreme velocity, or both.

Does anyone know how this gun achieves it's tremendous power?

Probably have to screw two DonnyFL Sumo's together to get the blast down so your ears won't bleed after each shot!!!

80 fpe isn't unreasonable for a 22. Especially unregulated. My crown does 65, and I could still stand to raise the pressure/volume of charge significantly.



That sounds like a very promising rifle! I'll have to check it out.

The gun is unregulated, with a 3800 psi fill you get 10 shots at a 10fps spead.

It shoots 36 again round nose boattails at around 1000fps. Bc is around .2!

It is heavy, although. From the Russian reviews I have found, they talk about the weight. Seems like around 8.5 lbs.

I kinda agree, at least in the above video the rifle didn't shoot very tight groups... I will wait for more video, it's kind of a moot point though as the bullpup is not available in the USA...

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Jager EVO XP...

Yea, in the video he said it hunting accuracy. The same gun did achieve 1.5 in over video.

same rifle I had but mine was black soft touch you get a single shot tray with it. should be very quiet also no silencer needed. if I remember right mine was shooting 18 gr jsb lights out at 930ish

It's nice, I like it so far, smooth action, quiet with the included shroud, it's raining here all day so no chance to dial it in or do any actual shooting... I have to call the vendor, the single shot tray was missing from the box, everything else checks out so far, holding air, put a couple shots into the pellet trap indoors to see how quiet it is... It's very quiet... The butt pad is adjustable up and down...

Next, I'll be shooting a few groups with the stock Jager, see how it does with a junk scope on it...

So, a quick sight in with a junk scope at 25 yards...

The Jager is a shooter for sure...

Took three to find where I was hitting, two in the dirt, one on my tree back stop, a couple clicks to get on the target...

7 shots, one ragged hole at 25 yards... Haven't even cleaned the barrel yet...

So, I made some cheap disposable targets for shooting groups etc... An old piece of coroplast, cut into pieces, some bamboo skewers, broke in half and a couple minutes with a hot glue gun... This is what I ended up with...

I wanted to check out my Tac Vector 4-12x44 FFP scope out in place of the junk I had on my Jager... As I stated earlier the Jager is a shooter, granted this is only twenty five yards, but I am quite seriously shooting from a most unstable and awkward position... (don't ask)

I'll let the photo speak for itself, and @Doug, I clean my new barrels first with lead, then balistol... ;-)

5 shots, 25 yards... A dime was too big...

Ya know, I guess I could shoot a few chrono strings and check, I will mention that the Jager seems to get quite a few shots per fill... I'm almost certain the air tube is titanium too...
