New Prototype Stock For the Barra 250z

I have been working on this one for a while. This is not quiet the final prototype but very close. I have a couple of minor cosmetic geometry changes to make on the stock and some refinements to the trigger guard. Then it will be good to go. I will be making the design in wood and composite versions in both Glass Fiber and Carbon Fiber.

I do not have the safety bolt install but it will and function beautifully.

Very nice work. Any chance you could incorporate two or three Mlok spaced bolt anchor points for something like this? I know the Oem stock has some flimsy Mlok slots, but with a rail like this you would only need a few anchor points for the screws. Just an idea

Looks great, have you considered a variant where the bottom of the forend is parallel with the bore axis? This would be better for mounting a bipod or other accessories.

Nice rail a company local to me makes that.

The stock will have an M-Lok rail panel like this along with the QD sling swivels and sockets.

Looks great, have you considered a variant where the bottom of the forend is parallel with the bore axis? This would be better for mounting a bipod or other accessories.

Could do that as a custom build.

Sweet! Im on the southwest side of Topeka. If I end up getting a Barra I would definitely be interested in one of these stocks.

I added access to the hammer spring adjuster while the action is still in the stock.

If you didn't see in the earlier photo the regulator adjustment access in in the stock.

Yes one of many tools. Fusion 360 for CAD & CAM. I speak SW, Inventor, SE, and Creo too....lol

Nice!! I use SW and Fusion at work. I was a Edgecam user for about 13 or 14 years, but its been a minute. I used to be fluent in Rhino, but that was my college days. Wow that was a while ago..... and now I feel OLD.
