I’ve been working on a new permission and finally got the nod. This dairy is at least four times larger and has at least ten structures. Which is nine more buildings than the dairy I currently pest at. I arrived this morning at 10:00 am, the action was looking light walked/explored the property shot 7 starlings. Left for home at 12 and returned at 3 p.m. At that point small groups of starlings were gathering in the trees and I went to work, 25 starlings, 5 sparrows and 2 rats. At dusk starlings by the hundreds started arriving and flying in a murmuration. I was in awe at the amount they all roosted in one of the larger buildings. It was too dark to shoot and I did not have lights. They have lots of rats too! I left flabbergasted, I couldn’t believe the day I just had. Now the wheels are turning for a night raid massacre, feeling very lucky to have access to this target rich environment. I don’t have images as it was requested that I take no photos. Once they get to know me that will change
