Customer at a farm where I was walking around with the Crown asked the farmer what I was doing. Farmer told him and the person asked him to pass on his name and number.

So I stopped by there in the late afternoon.....too late for any shooting really, but was cleared to stop by in the future without notice and shoot all the birds.

The motto at the farm where I got the referral is "If it flys, it dies".

I don't know about that. Right now I'd just be happy to get a pellet or slug sponsor.... 

It's going to be single-digiit cold again by Friday, which is the earliest I'll be able to get out to this new farm.

Until then, the slug liner should be here tomorrow, so I'll ha e a couple evenings to get the gun set up and tuned.
